VALUECOMBO Order → Seller Allocation Engine

VALUECOMBO Order → Seller Allocation Engine

Purpose: Safely allocate every customer order line to the approved VALUECOMBO seller responsible for that product.

1. Line-Level Allocation

Each Shopify order line is tracked independently using Shopify Order ID, Line Item ID, Product ID, Variant ID, Seller Code, quantity and seller-attributed value.

2. Seller Order Consolidation

After line validation, all valid lines belonging to the same Seller Code are consolidated into one seller-specific order record linked to the original customer order reference.

Seller Order = Parent Customer Order + Seller Code + Allocated Lines + Allocated Order Value.

3. Validation Gate

  1. Product must have an approved VALUECOMBO ownership mapping.
  2. Seller Code must exist in Seller Registry.
  3. Seller must be approved and eligible to sell.
  4. Unmapped or invalid lines become an allocation exception and are not assigned to a seller.

4. Fee & Settlement

The consolidated seller order carries Marketplace Service Fee, settlement amount and settlement eligibility data. These values are calculated from the seller-attributed order value after the applicable rules and adjustments.

5. Multi-Seller Example

One customer order contains Seller A products + Seller B products. The engine creates separate seller-order groups for Seller A and Seller B while retaining the same parent customer order reference.

6. Current Implementation Status

The line registry and seller-order consolidation data structures are ready. No real seller has been auto-assigned. Live automatic allocation, order creation, inventory reservation, fulfilment routing and settlement require a connected marketplace backend/app or equivalent automation layer.
